Piggin out

Introduction
In this web quest you will work in groups of five to eight students. Your group will explore the tradition of Thanksgiving through the eyes of those who founded the tradition. You will recreate the very first Thanksgiving.

Your team has the task of creating a ten to fifteen minute skit that will be presented to the class. The skit will recreate the first Thanksgiving feast. Each member of the group will take on the role of a member of the first feast. Each member must create a character. Give each character your own personal touch. Each group member must be able to answer these questions about the character:
- Name, Date of Birth, Hometown, Profession.
- From where is your family originally?
- Why is Thanksgiving important to you?
- Describe your day to day activities.

To complete this task you will take the following steps:
1. As a group, decide who will develop characters that will represent Pilgrims and Native Americans.

3. Meet as a group; develop a written script for your skit. The skit should last ten to fifteen minutes.
4. Submit an outline of your script to the teacher.
